The ruins of Brahehus Castle are located in the province of Smaland, Sweden. The castle was built for Count Per Brahe the Younger in the 1640s and was later destroyed by fire. The ruins sit high above sea level and provide a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding farmlands, lakes and islands.
